Tournament management platform
Tournament management software for youth sports
Campio is a tournament management platform that takes a youth tournament from team registration to final standings: entries and payments, automatic groups, a match schedule across halls and pitches, live results and standings on a public tournament page.

Short answer
Tournament management software lets an organiser run a whole sports event in one place: register and invoice teams, split them into groups per age group, generate a match schedule that fits the venues and time windows, enter results and publish standings. Campio does all of this in one platform, with a branded public page and app-friendly views for coaches and parents.
Most organisers run tournaments on a mix of spreadsheets, a payment link and a PDF schedule that is out of date by the first break. Every late withdrawal means rebuilding the programme by hand.
Campio's tournament module replaces that patchwork. This page explains what it covers and how a tournament runs on it.
What the tournament platform covers
Team registration and payments
Teams enter per age group or level, pay the team fee online and add players later. See the tournament registration flow for details.
Automatic groups
Teams are split into groups per age group automatically. Groups can be renamed afterwards so the schedule reads clearly.
Match schedule across venues
Matches are placed into each hall's or pitch's free time windows, with its own match length per age group, across several days.
Results and standings
Enter results as matches finish; group standings update straight away.
Filter by age group
Coaches and parents filter matches, groups, results and standings to their own age group on phone or desktop.
Branded public tournament page
Each tournament has its own page with details, programme, results, media and registration in the organiser's branding.
What to look for in a tournament management platform
Common organiser requirements and how Campio handles them.
| What to look for | How Campio handles it |
|---|---|
| Registration and payment in the same system | Team entry, team fee and later participant fees sit on the same team record. |
| Several venues with split availability | Each venue has its own time windows; matches are only placed where a hall or pitch is free. |
| Different match lengths per age group | Match length is set per level, so younger age groups can play shorter matches. |
| Readable groups | Generated groups can be given names instead of codes. |
| Live results and standings | Results entered by the organiser update standings on the public page. |
| Works on phones | The public page and filters are built for parents and coaches checking the programme courtside. |
From entries to a match schedule
Once registration closes, the organiser generates groups per age group and then the match schedule. Campio fills each venue's free time windows in turn and respects the match length set for each level.
If a team withdraws or a hall changes its hours, the organiser adjusts the setup and generates the schedule again instead of rebuilding it by hand.
One page for coaches and parents
Everyone follows the same public tournament page. A coach chooses their age group and sees only their matches, groups, results and standings.
Because results are entered in the same system that holds the schedule, the standings people see are the ones the organiser is working from.

Frequently asked questions
What is tournament management software?
Software that runs a sports tournament end to end: team registration and payments, groups, match scheduling across venues, results and standings.
Is Campio a tournament registration platform as well?
Yes. Registration and payments are part of the same platform, so the teams that pay are the teams that get scheduled.
Can the schedule use several halls with different opening hours?
Yes. Each venue has its own time windows, and matches are only placed where that venue is free.
Can age groups play different match lengths?
Yes. Match length is set per level.
Can I rename groups after they are generated?
Yes. Group names can be edited and update in the schedule and standings.
Can parents and coaches follow the tournament on their phone?
Yes. The public tournament page works on phones and can be filtered by age group.
