Tournament registration software
Tournament registration software for team events
Campio handles tournament entries the way team events actually work: a team registers and pays the team fee up front, then comes back later to name players and pay participant fees for accommodation and meals.

Short answer
Tournament registration software manages team entries rather than individual sign-ups: team name, contact person, division, capacity per division and a two-stage fee structure. Campio takes the team fee at entry, issues a private team page, then collects named participants and accommodation or meal fees later, paid either by the team or by each player.
Tournament organisers rarely need a camp registration form. They need divisions with their own capacity, a single contact person per team, and a fee that arrives in two parts weeks apart.
Campio's tournament module is built for exactly that pattern. This page explains how the flow works.
What the tournament module covers
Team entry with divisions
Publish divisions such as U19 Boys or U17 Girls, each with its own capacity, and collect the team name and contact person's name, email and phone.
Two-stage fees
A team fee is paid at entry. The participant fee — typically accommodation and meals — is collected later, when the team knows how many players are coming.
Named participants
Teams add players and staff with name, contact details, age and role, and choose accommodation and meals per person.
Private team page
Each team gets its own private link to manage its entry, and a share link so players can register themselves.
Organiser overview
Registered teams, paid entries, participant numbers and revenue are visible on the tournament's registration page.
Branded confirmations
Confirmation emails carry the organiser's branding and include the team's private link and payment status.
What team events need from registration software
Tournament requirements and how Campio handles them.
| What to look for | How Campio handles it |
|---|---|
| Register teams, not individuals | Team name, contact person and division are captured at entry. |
| Capacity per division | Each division has its own maximum number of teams. |
| Two payments at different times | Team fee at entry, participant fee later for accommodation and meals. |
| Local teams without accommodation | Participants can be registered with or without accommodation and meals. |
| Who pays the participant fee | The organiser sets a default, and the registering coach can choose whether the team pays or players pay individually. |
| Public tournament page | Each tournament has its own branded public page with details, programme, media and registration. |
The two-stage fee model
Most tournaments charge a team fee at entry to secure the place, then a per-person fee for accommodation and meals once squads are confirmed. Splitting these is not just an accounting preference: it is the only way a club can enter before it knows who is travelling.
Campio keeps both stages on the same team record, so the organiser sees which teams have paid their entry, which have registered players, and what is still outstanding for accommodation.
Letting players register themselves
A coach can register every player, or share the team's sign-up link so players enter their own details and pay their own participant fee. The choice is made per team, not forced on the whole tournament.
Either way the players land on the right team in the right division, because the link resolves to that specific team.

Frequently asked questions
What is tournament registration software?
Tournament registration software manages team entries for a sports event: team details, divisions, capacity, entry fees and later participant fees for things like accommodation and meals.
Can teams pay the entry fee first and the rest later?
Yes. Campio takes the team fee at entry and collects participant fees for accommodation and meals later, when squad numbers are known.
What if a local team does not need accommodation?
Participants can be registered without accommodation and meals, so local teams only pay the team fee.
Can players register and pay for themselves?
Yes. The team gets a share link, and the registering coach decides whether the team pays for everyone or players pay individually.
Does each tournament have a public page?
Yes. Every tournament has its own branded public page with details, divisions, programme, photos and registration.
Do organisers see who has paid?
Yes. The tournament's registration overview shows registered teams, paid entries, named participants and revenue.
